Our Story
A locally owned, owner-led senior moving company — because the people you love deserve a transition handled by someone who knows their name.
Meet the Founder
I started Summit Senior Services because I know firsthand how overwhelming this process can be. Helping a parent downsize after decades in the same home — or navigating a move to assisted living — carries an emotional weight that lands long before anyone thinks about the logistics.
My goal is simple: to be the person Greater Cleveland families can call and genuinely feel relieved afterward. Not more stressed. Not more confused. Relieved. That's the standard I hold myself to on every single job.
This transition deserves patience, dignity, and a personal touch. You shouldn't have to coordinate five vendors, chase down movers, and figure out what to do with a houseful of belongings on your own. That's exactly what I'm here for.
When you work with Summit, you're not hiring a faceless company. You're working directly with me — and I won't consider the job done until you're truly settled and at ease.
How I Work
The same principles, whether it's a five-bedroom downsizing or a single closet sort.
The in-home consult is a real conversation about your situation: what you need, what your parent needs, what the timeline looks like. If we're not the right fit, I'll tell you. If you want to think about it for six months, that's fine too. You'll never get a follow-up sales call from me.
Every job gets a written plan: what we're doing, when, and what it costs. No hidden fees, no surprise line items, no "we hit an obstacle, here's another invoice." If the scope changes, we talk about it first.
The biggest mistake in senior moves is rushing them. Decades of belongings don't get sorted in a weekend, and no one should feel hurried out of their own decisions. I'll work with whatever timeline you have — even if that's three months of one slow afternoon a week.
You don't get handed off to a foreman, an estimator, or a billing department. You call me, you text me, you email me — and I'm the one who shows up. That's the whole point of working with a small, owner-led business instead of a national franchise.
Settling-in is the part most movers skip — and it's the part that makes the new place feel like home. I stay until the pictures are on the walls, the electronics work, the closets are organized, and your parent can find their coffee in the morning.
What We Stand For
Every Summit job is owner-led and built around the family — not a franchise checklist. These are the standards I hold myself to, on the first call and the last box alike.
What that looks like
We treat every family like our own. This work is personal, and we never lose sight of that.
No surprises, no runaround. You always know what's happening, what's next, and what it costs.
We never rush a family through one of life's most significant transitions. We move when you're ready.
One point of contact from the first call to the last box. You'll never have to repeat yourself.
The free in-home consultation is the easiest way to start. No pressure, no obligation — just a conversation about what's needed and what's possible.
